Red Robin, Red Robin...

Ok, so hi. I've been terrible about updating....again.

1. It's been a slow sales month, but I'm believing God that things will pick up.

2. Apparently Delaware state quarters are worth $1.00.

3. www.hsbcdirect.com gets you a 5.05% interest savings account.

4. I'm trying to pick up golf...Like, as a hobby. I'm not actually trying to pick up the entire sport of golf with my hands.

5. There are so many insane concerts coming! Ok fine, I'm listing them all.

     a. Anberlin: Thu, Sept 28th.

     b. BEENIE MAN WITH TANTRO METRO AND DEVONTE!!!!

     c. just kidding about beenie man, unless you really love beenie man.

     d. Flogging Molly: Fri, Oct. 6th

     e. I wasn't kidding about flogging molly. I'm all about some of them.

     f. Paul Oakenfold: Wed, Oct 11th

     g. Mute Math: Thu, Oct 19th

     h. Alice in Chains: Sun, Oct 22nd

     i. Switchfoot: Tue, Nov 7th

     j. Death Cab for Cutie: Fri, Nov 10th

     k. G. Love and Special Sauce: Sat, Nov. 18th

AND THAT'S ALL JUST AT THE NORVA!!!!!!!!!!!! isn't that whack?

6. Say hello to my cat.

7. I'm trying to set more goals for myself.

8. I want to start stock trading.

9. My goal is to get to number 10.

Dominate Fear

311 concert on Thursday. gidd-ee-up. anyone else that wants to go let me know. I expect noone else to want to.

the DC trip went as well as it could've gone without selling a house. I overcame fear and greatly expanded my confidence in what I am capable of doing. I plan to keep going back up there between 1-5 times per month for as many meetings as possible.

my uncle in DC is improving. he was talking yesterday when we visited him and nurses were helping him walk around the hospital wing. the whole heart attack was a complete shock, but it seems that after a few weeks he'll be back in action.

here's to........

I was wrapped up all last weekend with one of my best friends' wedding. I've been in a few weddings in the past, but this one hit home. I figured my goal would be to try to experience every role in a wedding that I could before my own so I can relate to the people that I ask to be in mine. Not necessarily so that I can feel their pain. It's more so that when they start complaining I can tell them to shove it.

It was a beautiful wedding; it was a bit tense right before. Ken (groom) and I were sent to the pastor's office so he wouldn't see the bride. We sat......sat.....sat. We tried to make fun of things hanging on the walls, but we couldn't get past the whole "the wedding is in 10 minutes" thought. There was more silence than we're used to. The pastor even asked me for some last words to give him, and I couldn't blurt anything out. I just kept staring. Once we finally got into the sanctuary neither he nor I could restrain ourselves, so the tears started coming...and kept coming for probably the next hour.

Ken got off easy, though, since while I was standing there I had to fight off the pesky antics of the little ring-bearer-boy-guy. The rings were on a pillow and he kept grabbing the pillow and smashing it up against his face while making these strange girations. But, whatever.

So the ceremony was smooth and awesome. My speech was fine, I guess. Everyone told me it went great, but I think Ken just invited polite people to the wedding. We cried some more, we hugged after I spoke. Cried more.

I gave the toast and chugged the champagne only to find out that the champagne was amazingly smooth and I suddenly became addicted to it's awesomeness. I looked down to find out that I had instantly become hooked on apple cider, not champagne. The champagne was still sitting there on the table.

There were other stories, but I'm not into really long posts.

Anyway, this wedding is further making me realize that I need to get on the stick. My goal: move out by January. We'll see.

Ask me about how my wedding will be planned out. I'm super-stoked about it. It includes midgets, marching bands, and all kinda of stuff.
